Course Description

The NCOM course leverages the dramatic geography of Alpine, Texas. Racers should prepare for high-speed descents, false flats that sap energy, and sections of road where crosswinds can split the field in an instant. Elevation gains are significant, favoring climbers who can maintain a high tempo on the longer, grinding ascents.

Course Category	Description	Elevation Profile
Pro/Elite/Cat 1-2	Full circuit distance featuring the most challenging climb sections and maximum exposure.	High elevation gain with sustained climbing segments.
Cat 3/4/Masters	Modified circuit distance focusing on technical handling and tactical positioning.	Moderate elevation with rolling terrain and key punchy climbs.
