About This Event
The Rule of Three is a world-class, multi-surface endurance challenge held in the "Cycling Mecca" of Bentonville, Arkansas. The event is the centerpiece of a multi-day festival that includes social rides, an expo, and community parties.
The race’s name refers to its core philosophy: three distinct terrains (Tarmac, Gravel, and Singletrack) must be conquered on one bike. It is notoriously difficult, with technical singletrack sections strategically placed late in the course to test riders' grit when they are most fatigued.

Event Overview
- Location: Bentonville, AR (Main venue: 3100 Price Coffee Rd)
- Distance Options: 115 miles (Pro/Elite level), 60 miles, and a new 35-mile "intro" route. An "Ultra" 200+ mile option is also available for extreme endurance.
- Format: Solo or 3-person teams. Teams must ride together and finish together.
- Post-Race: A massive finish-line celebration with food, beer, awards at 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM, followed by a free concert at The Momentary.

The course is "brutally beautiful" and relentless, featuring over 8,000 feet of elevation gain.
