Find the Champion Within and start your season on the right wheel! Perezluha Coaching presents the Time Trial Series, a monthly, competitive, and supportive event designed for all levels of cyclists to test their fitness against the clock. Located just outside Florida Polytechnic University in Lakeland, this series offers the perfect, low-traffic environment to set baselines, train with power, and chase personal bests from February through November.

Course Description

The main course is an 8-mile, out-and-back time trial on University Blvd, just west of Florida Polytechnic University (4700 Research Way, Lakeland, FL 33805).
  • Terrain: Mainly flat with long straightaways.
  • Traffic: Very low, featuring wide lanes perfect for finding an aerodynamic rhythm.
  • 15km Option: A 15-kilometer course option is available (same course, additional turn-around).
  • Special Edition: Select dates feature a 7.4-mile "Firetower Road" special edition time trial or an 8.5-mile course on Old Lake Alfred Road.

  • Start Times: First wave starts at 9:00 AM, with 2nd wave (if needed) typically starting later.
  • Registration: $35 pre-registration on BikeReg ($45 day-of). Full 11-event series pass available for $300.
  • Rules: For "Merckx" (Road) categories, no aerobars, disc wheels, or aero helmets allowed.
  • Parking: Free parking on Research Way.
