About This Event

Welkom to the fourth and final stop of the Belgian Waffle Ride Quad-Tripel Crown of Gravel Series — the Second Annual BWR Montana, known as the Hell of the Bozone… The 2026 Belgian Waffle Ride Montana returns to Bozeman for the grand finale of the Quad-Tripel Crown of Gravel—our high-elevation epic where grit meets grandeur, and waffles meet wild Montana skies. Bozeman’s lush landscapes, framed by the majestic Rocky Mountains, set the stage for one of the most breathtaking and demanding races in the series. Riders will experience everything from smooth valley roads and winding forest tracks to rolling gravel climbs and high-speed descents through Big Sky Country. The BWR MT is more than a race—it’s a journey through pristine wilderness, wide-open plains, and an unforgettable weekend of unroad adventure, Belgian waffles, and cold beer.

Race Categories & Distances

Riders can choose from three primary distances, each offering a unique "cocktail of suffering":

Waffle	115 miles (185 km)	~8,240 ft	The championship route; ~60% unroad terrain with 16 technical sectors.
Wafer	69 miles (111 km)	~4,212 ft	A mid-distance challenge with 7 unroad sectors (~35% unroad).
Wanna	30 miles (48 km)	~1,200 ft	A beginner-friendly introduction with 3 unroad sectors (~30% unroad).

Additional categories include Single Speed Masochists, Tandem, and the MTB "Lentz is More" category (minimum 2.1" tires).

What’s Included

Registration fees range from $50 for Juniors to $195 for Waffle/Wafer individual entries. Your entry includes:

BWR Musette Swag Bag: Contains a race number, RFID tag, and "BWR Bucks" for gear from sponsors like MUMU and Neversecond.
Signature Fuel: Pre-race waffles and coffee, well-stocked feed zones every 20 miles, and a post-race Belgian waffle feast.
The Reward: A custom Finisher's Trophy Beer, podium recognition for top age-group finishers, and the crowning of the Quad-Tripel Crown champions.
