About This Event
Monster Energy Pro Downhill Series is sanctioned with USA Cycling and designated as the Official US National Downhill Series. ALL rounds of the Series are open to US and International Athletes. ALL international licenses are accepted. Individual events carry the following sanctioning details: Round 1 - USA Cycling, UCI (Continental Series Designation) Round 2 - USA Cycling Round 3 - USA Cycling Round 4 - USA Cycling, UCI (US National Championship Designation) Round 5 - USA Cycling (Fox US Open) + Pro/Elite and 17/18 Cat 1 categories will follow UCI or USA Cycling downhill regulations and Pro Downhill Series regulations + Amateur categories will follow USA Cycling and Pro Downhill Series regulations + All racer license upgrades or issues must be directed to USA Cycling or UCI + ALL ATHLETES are welcome to race Round 4 (Pro Downhill Series/National Championships at Big Bear). This event will be a normal Pro Downhill Series race AND will also crown the US National Champion. USA Cycling will release updated Eligibility Guidelines specifically pertaining to the US National Championship competition and who is eligible to win the "National Sleeve".
