Course Description & Highlights

While each venue offers unique challenges, the series is known for technical, high-speed downhill terrain:
  • Diverse Track Options: Events often feature multiple tracks, such as at the Trials Training Center, which includes a technical Cat 1/Pro track and a separate split-off for Cat 2/3 riders.
  • Ride Rock Creek (NC): Located in Zirconia, this venue offers a mix of technical rock gardens, flowy jump lines, and steep singletrack designed to challenge experienced downhillers.
  • Beech Mountain (NC): Known for its high elevation and rocky, lift-accessed terrain, providing some of the longest and most demanding descents in the series.

Participant Details

  • Categories: The series is open to a wide range of skill levels and ages, including Pro Men, Cat 1 Junior (17-18), and various youth and age-group categories (e.g., Cat 2/3 Men 40-49, 16U Women).
  • Age Requirements: Racing age is determined by the participant's age as of December 31, 2026.
  • Support: Venues like Trials Training Center may require self-supported track walks (walking or providing your own ride up) due to the lack of traditional bike park lift infrastructure.
