About This Event
The Canyon Lake Classic is a high-speed, closed-circuit road race that serves as the official kickoff to the 2026 Central Texas road racing season. The event is a revival of a popular course from the historic Tour of New Braunfels. The race is designed to test riders' early-season fitness before moving on to major events like Lago Vista and Pace Bend. Held entirely within Canyon Park, the race is notable for its picturesque views and a "perfect" uphill finish that overlooks the water. It is a spectator-friendly event, featuring live music, food trucks, and a festive atmosphere.
