Composition: Courses are roughly 85% to 92% gravel, featuring fast hard-packed "hero" gravel, sections of looser rock, and occasional sand patches that may require brief dismounts.
Unique Start: The signature mass start begins on a historic "hidden" bridge over the dam waterfall at Coon Fork Lake.

Event Highlights

Distances for Everyone: Three primary route options are available to suit different endurance levels:
- The Short (~28–33 miles): Includes approx. 1,000 ft of elevation gain.
- The Mid (~44–49 miles): Includes approx. 1,800 ft of elevation gain.
- The Long (~87–95 miles): A challenging trek with approx. 3,000 ft of elevation gain.
Halfway Hang: All routes converge at the Rock Dam Lake beach pavilion, featuring music, snacks, water refills, and an opportunity for a quick swim.
