The Bear 100 features three distances, all focusing on remote, unpaved terrain with minimal pavement sections.

The 103-Mile "Bear": A deep dive into the Nicolet National Forest. A challenging, early-season test of endurance and early-season fitness.
The 61-Mile "Instant Classic": A popular, mid-distance route featuring 3 miles of "easy" single-track on the Strong Falls Trails.
The 31-Mile "Honey Bear": Perfect for the gravel-curious, beginners, and E-bikes. Features the non-motorized, scenic Rat River Trail.

Course Surface: Mostly gravel and dirt roads with sections of two-track and short, easy single-track sections.

Support the Community: 100% of the proceeds from the events go to the Laona Rescue Squad, supporting their equipment, training, and rescue services.
