The D1 TEAM (Team Expense And Management) program supports elite domestic squads through a structured series points system and financial incentives:

Team Composition: Rosters may consist of up to 9 exclusive riders, with a minimum of 4 and maximum of 6 competing per individual event.
Composite Teams: Individual riders without a full squad can receive assistance from series organizers to form D1 Composite Teams to compete for leaderboards.
Race Dynamics: Events typically feature a full day of category racing, culminating in prime-time pro finals under the lights (e.g., 60-minute Pro Women and 75-minute Pro Men races).

What’s Included for D1 Teams

Official D1 registration (requiring a $1,000 deposit via BikeReg) unlocks several professional-tier benefits:

Financial Support: Access to a $5,500 travel fund stipend paid in installments and eligibility for the $20,000 D1 TEAM Overall Prize Purse.
Race Logistics: Guaranteed entry for up to 6 riders per race, one guaranteed call-up per event, and preferred allocation for host housing or hotel accommodations.
Exposure: Live rider introductions based on series standings and professional timing via MyLaps transponders with live results on Vitacost Sport.
